ABOUT ME

Video Producer , Editor

Hi, I'm Aaron Jackson. I am originally from Kingsport, Tennessee, but moved to Winston Salem, North Carolina while I was in high school. I am a Media Production major at High Point University. I accidentally found my love for broadcasting in my Freshman year of high school and I have done broadcasting classes every year since. Through these classes, I have learned and gained experience in writing, recording, editing, directing, and audio producing. I have experience with editing and posting for YouTube as well.

Outside of video producing and broadcasting, I also have a love for music. I have played percussion for nine years. In high school, I played a concert in Carnegie Hall in New York City. The marching band I played in also competed in Bands of America. We placed 6th in the nation and were named Grand National Class AAA Champions. Not only have I played music, but I also danced for ten years. The different styles included tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and swing. My favorite of these was tap. My teacher for dance was a Rockette when she was younger. Aside from music, I am learning American Sign Language in my spare time.
